Jamie Ortega was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she developed her deep love of secondhand fashion and music. Previously on the path to becoming a professional dancer, she pivoted after finding fashion as a new way to tell stories. She pursued styling by any means possible while in San Francisco before moving to New York where she assisted some of the industry’s leading artists.

Today, Jamie uses fashion to tell stories with brands, artists, and publications. She is also a costume designer, having recently worked on her first feature, Give Me Pity!, and has other projects currently in development.

Jamie is most passionate about connecting with her talent to elevate the message and shine light on folks who historically haven’t received the shine they deserve. A powerhouse in connecting the dots and solving problems on the fly, she continues to rise to the occasion of each project.
